Accumulating Youth Is An Art

You, who are starting to add gray hair. You, yes you, who see wrinkles in the most unexpected places on your face. You, who see how the body asks you for a truce every morning, that you collect experiences and know, that you still fall with the wind of life, that you know that it is mandatory to grow and that you would not miss a second of your life.

It is also for you, because of your blindness to these details and your lack of concern for the sum of the years. You should know that we only discover that we are old when we are old and we are at a point of no return.

I am your Past and I cannot give you much more than to always be by your side, I need you to be and you need me to be. I am the garden that you planted with the seeds that will last: if I scare you, don’t worry because I will not return and, if I make you happy, you will always love me because I have turned your present into something better.

However, it may also be that when I speak to you you become sad ; do not blame me and do not cry, I tried to do the best I could but by now you will understand that I am part of living and who you are now.

I am old wars that will not return and I just accumulate. Remember that you are creating me every second and that you can take advantage of me to be happy when I speak to you again, for that the Present helps you.

Every second that passes I am bigger; Besides, when Present and Future go somewhere I have already been and returned many times. My passion is to warm your youth, telling Futuro what Present is doing.

I am the Present

I am very fleeting and my name is Present. I hardly know what to tell you because all my ideas and actions are taken by the Past to help the Future grow. I can hear you, dance with you and play music with my guitar but you don’t listen to me because you are very entertained.

I flourish the garden that you planted in the Past and Present calls me Future. I’m a big fan of the stories Past over Present tells me. They have taught me everything I can do, they are fantastic!

I can be an inexhaustible source of energy for Present. I have never talked to him but I have been told that he is always thinking about me and the Past, it is time for him to worry about him. Present is very important to us so take care of it and pamper it, so that it does not stop telling us beautiful stories at all times.

The three of us admire you because we have learned from you that living is not just watching time go by and that the most wonderful adventures are that you fill us with dreams and accumulate experiences. We have also understood that the words you say are not so important but how you say them, that tolerance is the best religion, that life does not have a draft and that it is better to think things over before writing them.

We know that running away from our problems is a race that we will never win, that’s why we appreciate you, because you stand up to them and support us. In any case, we have come to remind you of something that you cannot forget and that is that you regret what you do and not what you do not do, because we know something that you do not know and that is that cowardice ages us more than time .
